Had family room with wake-up service available in it. The bed was large, I had a perfect sleep. The atmosphere created was family! Stayed for 6 days and didn't want to leave, I will certainly stay here again.

When booking it, the price is 45usd . But when arrived, the receptionist didn't find my name, and said, ok I give you the price of 60usd. This is not what we are expecting.the breakfast is horrible. Only cafe and bread, which seems is the leftover of last night

The location of this hotel made exploring the city super convenient. Just steps away from the main attractions, I enjoyed the charming old colonial building with its unique tiles and craftsmanship. The air conditioning worked perfectly, a must in the heat of Merida. Noise was a significant issue. My room faced a busy crossroads, constant traffic sounds and even loud music at night from a nearby venue. I had requested a quiet room, but that didn't happen. The cleaning staff started their work too early. The room itself needed better soundproofing and a thorough cleaning upon arrival. It had a bit of dust that could've been taken care of before check-in. Still, the overall vibe and age of the hotel were good, and with some improvements, this place could offer an even better experience.

The staff was great and helpful.
A little noisy due to the location near the streer.

The person at the front desk was nice as was the cleaner. That is all.
Initial appearance from the lobby looked good, once in the room it was old and must smelling. The walls were cracking and the airconditioner did not work. I had to be transfered to another room. The outside quilt had no cover and was stained, dirty and old. The towels in the showere were very old and frayed!!

The building's charm and location near the main square were fantastic. Just a heads up, my room faced a noisy crossroads, but I managed. The quirky hotel vibe makes it worth checking out!

Beds in the room and design in the receiption hall
leaking water in bathroom and the idea to take money for pure water and for the cofee mashine.

Every detail of this wonderful and absolutely gorgeous property was nice. Location: the hotel was close to all the wonderful things to do around there, the city center, and main plaza and many shops.

The hotel is in a beautful building, but my room was just ok, noisey and had a shower head that leaked, unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that claims to be a decent place. I expected some form of compensation for these issues but alas, none was given. Could have been good otherwise.

The hotel had a very central location and it was not very far from Main Square. A main market and a market were right next door.

Price and location.
The hotel is gradually falling apart. The quality of rooms is very different, those which are behind the pool at rear yard are in a better condition I assume. Breakfast is just a coffee and bread. This is a really cheap hotel do not expect much excempt location.
